Wednesday November 19, 2008 thought for the day

A BEAUTIFUL FALL SCENE
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Disappointments are like road bumps, they slow you down a bit but you enjoy smooth roads afterwards-
2-No one can go back and make a brand new start, but you can start from now and make a brand new ending-
3-God didn't promise days without pain, joy without sorrow, sun without rain--but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for tears and light for the way-
4-Love always grows when you generously share-
5-The person who talks without thinking runs more risks than the person who thinks without talking-

Strange thought-instead of crying over spilled milk, go milk another cow-

I've learned-success is determined by how determined you are to succeed-

5 things I want to know
1-Why was Matthew the only gospel to say that Roman guards were placed around Jesus tomb?
2-Why were the Jewish religious leaders afraid the disciples would steal Jesus's body?
3-At Jesus's death, did the disciples think their cause was over?
4-Why didn't the disciples understand that Jesus said He would be resurrected?
5-Why isn't the resurrection story the same in all four gospels?

Scripture for today-We are each responsible for our own conduct. Galatians 6:5 (NLT)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
