Monday November 24, 2008 thought for the day

Happy Thanksgiving
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong-
2-Force is all conquering but it's victories are short lived-
3-Never confuse movement with action-
4-Man's mind stretched to a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions-
5-Take time to deliberate, but when the time for action arrives, stop thinking and do-

Strange thought-if money is burning a hole in your picket, it's not a new pair of pants you need-

I've learned-if everyone says a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing-

5 things I want to know
1-Does the term "entire sanctification" infer there is partial sanctification?
2-What does the Biblical phrase mean "God will harden whom he wants to harden"?
3-Does Jesus command to "turn the other cheek" require the abused to accept additional abuse?
4-Does a Christian person have the right to resist an evil person?
5-Are Christians not to defend themselves in court but leave their vindication to God as Jesus did?

Scripture for today-We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19 (NIV)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
