Saturday 18, 2009 thought for the day

SPRINGTIME IN OUR CAPITAL

Here are my thoughts for today
1-Jesus was not forced to die on a cross, he submitted to it-
2-A positive attitude does not make a situation go away, it helps you deal with it-
3-Handle your tongue in the same manner you would handle high explosives-
4-Trying to have faith is a work of the flesh, accepting faith through God's word is a work of God's grace-
5-If you are the recipient of a blessing, keep the blessing working by being the source of blessing to other people-

Strange thought-Someone who thinks logically is a nice contrast to the real world-

I've learned-Don't confuse your career with you life-

5 things I want to know
1-What is the crown of glory and is it an actual crown?
2-What is the crown of life and is it an actual crown?
3-Would we live differently if we anticipated a soon returning of Jesus?
4-What is the crown of rejoicing and is it an actual crown?
5-What are the crowns we lay at Jesus's feet?

Scripture for today Proverbs 27:1-7
1 Don't brag about tomorrow; you don't know what may happen then.
2 Don't praise yourself. Let someone else do it. Let the praise come from a stranger and not from your own mouth.
3 Stone is heavy, and sand is weighty, but a complaining fool is worse than either.
4 Anger is cruel and destroys like a flood, but no one can put up with jealousy!
5 It is better to correct someone openly than to have love and not show it.
6 The slap of a friend can be trusted to help you, but the kisses of an enemy are nothing but lies.
7 When you a full, not even honey tastes good, but when you are hungry, even something bitter tastes sweet.

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
