Saturday April 4, 2009 thought for the day

JESUS'S CRUCIFIXION FROM GOD'S VIEWPOINT
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Keeping the ten commandments won't save you, but being saved you'll want to keep them-
2-The blood of Jesus saves you, not what you do-
3-Being a Christian is not living by a bunch of rules, but living by grace-
4-If you live in the flesh, it will over power your soul and spirit-
5-Whatever weakens your conscience, that for you is sin-

Strange thought-Children are natural mimics, they act like their parents in spite of every attempt to teach them good manners-

I've learned-leadership is a collision course with conflict-

5 things I want to know
1-Why wouldn't Paul give John Mark a second chance on a second missionary journey with Barnabas?
2-Can Christians fall out of fellowship with one another and still be Christian?
3-Why couldn't Paul and Barnabas reconcile their differences over John Mark?
4-Did Paul never forgive John Mark for deserting him?
5-Should a person who once walked away/or fell away from a spiritual responsibility be given a second chance?

Scripture for today Proverbs 25:8-14
8 Because of something you have seen, do not quickly take someone to court. What will you do later when your neighbor proves you wrong?
9 If you have an argument with your neighbor, don't tell other people what was said.
10 Whoever hears it might shame you, and you might not ever be respected again.
11 The right word spoken at the right time is as beautiful as gold apples in a silver bowl.
12 A wise warning to someone who will listen is as valuable as gold earrings or fine gold jewelry.
13 Trustworthy messengers refresh those who send them, like the coolness of snow in the summertime.
14 People who brag about gifts they never give are like clouds and wind that give no rain.

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
