A beautiful sunset
Here are my thoughts for today
1-The 10 commandments are not multiple choice-
2-Praise God for the roses, thank Him for the thorns-
3-Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and leave the rest to God-
4-Three essentials to happiness in life are--something to do, someone to love, and something to hope for-
5-The way to be happy is to make others so-
Strange thought-Why are DVD"s sold in larger packages than CD"s even though the DVD's are the same size?
I've learned-One of the most difficult lessons to learn is--Which bridge in life to use and which one to not take.
5 things I want to know
1-What does God have invested in us?
2 Should we look for opportunities to do good works or just wait for them to happen?
3-Is it harder to give God your money or your time?
4-Is rudeness a sin?
5-Why are some prayers answered miraculously and others to unanswered?
Scripture for today Proverbs 29:15-21
15 Correction and punishment make children wise, but those left alone will disgrace their mother.
16 When there are many wicked people there is much sin, but those who do right will see them destroyed.
17 Correct your children and you will be proud; they will give you satisfaction.
18 Where there is no word from God people are uncontrolled, but those who obey what they have been taught are happy.
19 Words alone cannot correct a servant because even if he understands, he won't respond.
20 Do you see people who speak too quickly? There is more hope for a foolish person than for them.
21 If you spoil your servant when they are young, they will bring you grief later on.
