Thursday May 2, 2013 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-God wants his children to be known for love more than anything else-
2-Love cannot be learned or shared in isolation-
3-Loving relationships are the most important thing in life-
4-Life without love is meaningless-
5-Relationships, not achievement or acquiring things, are what matters most in life-

STRANGE THOUGHT-When does a child become an adult?

I'VE LEARNED-"Tis grace that hath brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home"

DID YOU KNOW-Just like people, mother chimpanzees often develop lifelong relationships with their offspring-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Timothy ever make it back to Paul before Paul's death?
2-How was Paul executed?
3-When did Paul leave Timothy behind at Ephesus?
4-Can you be a "money hungry Christian"?
5-Was Paul ever married?

BIBLE TRIVIA-  Who was priest during Joshua's conquest of Canaan?
Yesterday's answer-Melchizedek   Genesis 14:18

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   Acts:17-2017 “Brothers and sisters, I know you did those things to Jesus because neither you nor your leaders understood what you were doing. 18 God said through the prophets that his Christ would suffer and die. And now God has made these things come true in this way. 19 So you must change your hearts and lives! Come back to God, and he will forgive your sins. Then the Lord will send the time of rest. 20 And he will send Jesus, the One he chose to be the Christ.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying man Father, because Jesus was resurrected to life again we have the courage to work through the seemingly insurmountable difficulties that would otherwise plummet our faith.  We walk in the power of our resurrected Savior that makes life worth the living in our present life and increases our hope and expectancy of imperishable life yet to come. We thank You for the joy and anticipation that is ours as we remain faithful to You. It is in Jesus’ name that we pray. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
