5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Luke 11:31-32
31 On the Judgment Day the Queen of the South[a] will stand up with the people who live now. She will show they are guilty, because she came from far away to listen to Solomon’s wise teaching. And I tell you that someone greater than Solomon is here. 32 On the Judgment Day the people of Nineveh will stand up with the people who live now, and they will show that you are guilty. When Jonah preached to them, they were sorry and changed their lives. And I tell you that someone greater than Jonah is here.

Footnotes:

  1. 11:31 Queen of the South The Queen of Sheba. She traveled a thousand miles to learn God’s wisdom from Solomon. Read 1 Kings 10:1–3.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, we need our minds stirred up by those things which are true, honorable, right and pure. Stimulate our minds to wholesome thinking as we consider Your Word which not only purifies us within, but also guides us as we develop godly character. Help us to maintain a teachable heart that is open to a fresh perspective on ancient truth but is also blessed when we receive the reminders of truths well established from the beginning of time. Remind us often that our words and actions give us opportunity to bring You glory as we reflect Your image. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
