THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Peacemaker is not a synonym for appeaser-

2-Sometimes someone else has to tell us what we are worth before we realize it ourselves-

3-"Almost" never works with God-

4-Israel defeats the Philistines because a teenager trusted God-

5-There is something inside us that wants to do things our own way no matter the consequences.  The Bible calls this "the flesh"-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

Law of physical surfaces--the chances of an open faced sandwich landing face down on a floor, are directly correlated to the newness and cost of the carpet or rug-

 

I'VE LEARNED

Just saying "thank you" lifts our spirits-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Are suicidal tendencies from demon possessions?

2-Are demons satan's angels or fallen angels?

3-How could a man live with a legion of demons yet 2000 pigs could not?

4-Why would  Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, ask for Jesus to heal his daughter.  Was he a believer or was it a last desperate effort on his part?

5-What gave the woman with an issue of blood the courage to  try to secretly touch Jesus' cloak?

PRAYER FOR TODAY

 

Father, help me to focus on your presence during life's trials.  Thank you for your ever present Spirit, who never abandons me-

 

 I PRAY THAT GOD GIVES YOU STRENGTH IN YOUR STRUGGLE, PEACE IN YOUR PAIN, AND VICTORY IN YOUR VALLEY-
