Monday January 14, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-It is doubtful if God can bless a man greatly until he has allowed him to be hurt deeply.
2-Your stubborn will does not intimidate God.
3-Hurting people gain a perspective that those who have not yet been hurt lack.
4-God is never late, but he does seem to delay his involvement longer than we may prefer.
5-Vengance is passion out of control based on hatred.

STRANGE THOUGHT
You are middle age when you get tired of playing chess.

I’VE LEARNED
When in doubt, smile.

DID YOU KNOW
Since 1600 a total of 109 species and subspecies of bird have become extinct.

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What does it mean when Jesus said “all that the father gives me will come to me”?
2-Do some people never have a drawing to God?
3-Why does it seem that some people are born with an attraction to evil and others toward doing good?
4-Does God draw all people to himself?
5-Did Judas ever follow Jesus for the right reason?

BIBLE TRIVIA

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Matthew 5:3      You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, I am totally dependent on your love and grace and I thank you for this.

MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU
SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
