Saturday January 19, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Disillusionment comes from putting your complete hope and trust in someone-
2-What you see yourself as, is what you will be-
3-Why God allows evil to exist is a mystery-
4-Grey hair is no sign of maturity nor is youth a sign of immaturity-
5-We are to be grateful not proud-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Middle age is siting in a rocking chair and can’t get  it going-

I’VE LEARNED
Accept triumph and defeat with equal grace-

DID YOU KNOW
A robin’s egg is blue, but if you put it in vinegar for thirty days it turns yellow-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is the custodian just as important as the pastor in a church?
2-Why did Jesus weep over Lazarus being dead?
3-Does time heal all wounds?
4-Do Christians today really believe in prayer anymore?
5-Has human ability and reasoning replaced prayer today?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What prophet was told to cut off his hair and scatter a third of it in the wind?
Answer for today   Ezekiel 5:1-2      Now, son of man, take a sharp sword and use it as a straight razor, shaving your head and your beard. Then, using a set of balancing scales, divide the hair into thirds. When the days of the siege are over, take one-third of the hair and burn it inside the city. Take another third, chop it into bits with the sword and sprinkle it around the city. The final third you’ll throw to the wind. Then I’ll go after them with a sword.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank you God for your grace filled process of forgiveness-

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN.  BE A BLESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE.  LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
