Monday January 21, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Youth does not preclude usefulness-
2-Externals are not what should count-
3-We often chose what holds us in bondage-
4-With authority comes the need for accountability-
5-With popularity comes the need for humility-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Middle age is when dialing long distance wears you out-

I’VE LEARNED
Stand up for your principles, even if you have to stand alone-

DID YOU KNOW
Baby robins eat fourteen feet of earth worms a day-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What is desperate prayer?
2-What does it mean “we shall become like Christ”?
3-Can you lose your eternal inheritance?
4-Can God ever change his “will” for your life?
5-Should adults be baptized again if they were baptized as a child?

BIBLE TRIVIA
According to James, what sort of person is like a wave tossed by the wind?
Answer for today     a doubter     James 1:6-8  Ask boldly, believing without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.

Father, may I never hesitate to confess to you my mistakes, shortcomings and sins-

MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
