Sunday January 13, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-In the final analysis, God is God and he will have his way when he pleases and for his glory.
2-The workings of God in our lives are not related to our clocks but rather to our crises.
3-Often, when something looks like the absolute end it is really a new beginning.
4-All walls fall eventually.
5-When God wants to do an impossible task, he takes an impossible person and crushes him to make him ready.

STRANGE THOUGHT
Your little black book contains only names ending in MD.

I’VE LEARNED
Celebrate even small victories.

DID YOU KNOW
In the last three thousand years, no new animals have been domesticated.

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why are some people so prone to falling away from God?
2-Is Christianity in danger when it becomes popular?
3-Why is it okay to bash Christians but not Jews or Muslims?
4-Does its matter why people come to church as long as they do come?
5-Why are we critical of the people who Jesus spoke to in parables and didn’t understand him?

BIBLE TRIVIA
During Saul’s reign, an earthquake occurred during the attack on the Philistines at Michmash.  Who led the attack?
Answer for today          Jonathan           1 Samuel 14:15

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
Matthew 5:3     You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank you that through your Spirit I can get to know you better and that I am dependent on your grace daily.

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART-PEACE IN YOUR SOUL-  JOY IN YOUR LIFE -ALWAYS-
