Wednesday January 23, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The final proof of greatness comes in being able to endure bad behavior without resentment-
2-There is nothing like an attitude of gratitude to change negative living-
3-It doesn’t matter the way you were.  What matters is the way you are now-
4-Life is a lot like the game of tennis.  Those who don’t serve well end up losing-
5-When there is a breakdown of integrity we get swamped in lies and cover ups-

STRANGE THOUGHT
The best part of the day is over when your alarm clock goes off-

I’VE LEARNED
Read something else no one else is reading-

DID YOU KNOW
The difference between fowl and poultry is that poultry are domesticated fowl-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is baptism required to get to heaven?
2-Can you know you are “lost” if you have never been told?
3-Can you believe in a creator and not believe in God?
4-Is there a difference in praying with persistence and with patience?
5-How do you know if you have truly surrendered your life, your problems, your children to God?

BIBLE TRIVIA

Whose children were destroyed when a strong wind struck the house they were banqueting in?
Answer for today        Job’s         Job 1:18-19    While he was still talking, another messenger arrived and said, “Your children were having a party at the home of the oldest brother when a tornado swept in off the desert and struck the house. It collapsed on the young people and they died. I’m the only one to get out alive and tell you what happened.”

PRAYER FOR TODAY

I join with David in praising you who  “are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon you”

LIVE SIMPLY, LOVE GENEROUSLY, CARE DEEPLY, SPEAK KINDLY, LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD
