Wednesday December 24, 2008 thought for the day

A BEAUTIFUL NATIVITY SCENE
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Prayer is a relationship not a task on a to do list-
2-Prayer is not a cleverly crafted sentence-
3-We can never be 100% for God is we keep his "truth" to ourselves-
4-God disciplines his children and punishes the wicked-
5-Tithing is not about money, it is about a relationship with God-

Strange thought-we can justify what we want-

I've learned-the best way to disagree is with kind words-

5 things I want to know
1-What is the greatest expression of love?
2-Is it possible to live a selfish less life?
3-What does God's love look like?
4-Why did/does God love us?
5-Should/can we always be patient?

Scripture for today-After Herod died, an angel of the Lord spoke to Joseph in a dream while he was in Egypt. The angel said "Get up! Take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, because the people who were trying to kill the child are now dead. So Joseph took the child and his mother and went to Israel. After being warned in a dream, he went to the area of Galilee, to a town called Nazareth and lived there. An so what God had said through he prophets came true: "He will be called a Nazarene". Matthew 2:19-23

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
