Tuesday October 19, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Change for the worst can make you better if you allow it to-
2-Eyes tell the secrets of the heart even without the lips speaking-
3-Change in itself does not necessarily bring out the best, sometimes it brings out the worst-
4-To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to share it with-
5-Never give up on the people you love!!
STRANGE THOUGHT-It is not love that blinds us, but self love-
I'VE LEARNED-The unpredictable can become the unimaginable-
DID YOU KNOW-"Three dog night" (attributed to Australian Aborigines) came about because on especially cold night, these nomadic people needed three dogs around them to keep from freezing-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why do we know so little of Jesus prior to age 30?
2-Was money ever a titheable commodity?
3-Were converts (new believers) to Jesus in the New Testament instructed to tithe to the church or place of worship?
4-Did the fisherman disciples tithe their earnings from the sea?
5-Did Paul or the disciples ever instruct new believers to tithe money?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What man's daughters involved him in incestuous relations when they believed there were no other men around?
Yesterday's answer-Shelomith
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY Luke 12:32-34
Don't Trust in Money
32 "Don't fear, little flock, because your Father wants to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Get for yourselves purses that will not wear out, the treasure in heaven that never runs out, where thieves can't steal and moths can't destroy. 34 Your heart will be where your treasure is.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
