HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The nature of God is that he cannot tell an untruth-
2-A half truth is a whole lie-
3-When a half truth is represented as a whole truth, it becomes an
untruth-
4-Lying is one thing God hates-
5-A lack of honesty affects our relationship with God and others as
well-
STRANGE THOUGHT-I don't know how to act my age, I've never been this age
before-
I'VE LEARNED-God often seems to use delays to test our obedience and
patience-
DID YOU KNOW-The word byte is a contraction of "by eight"-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What does scriptures mean saying-"He (Jesus) was put to death in the body
but made alive by the spirit through whom he also went and preached to the
spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago...."
2-How do you place all your anxiety on Jesus?
3-How do you "Grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ"-
4-Was Timothy ever imprisoned?
5-Where were the people located that the book of Hebrews was written
to?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who said "This is John the baptist; he is risen from the dead;
and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him"-
Answer Herod Matthew 14:2
SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY Luke 4:22-30
22 All
the people spoke well of Jesus and were amazed at the words of grace he spoke.
They asked, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”
23 Jesus said to them, “I know that you will tell me the old saying: ‘Doctor, heal yourself.’ You want to say, ‘We heard about the things you did in Capernaum. Do those things here in your own town!’” 24 Then Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, a prophet is not accepted in his hometown. 25 But I tell you the truth, there were many widows in Israel during the time of Elijah. It did not rain in Israel for three and one-half years, and there was no food anywhere in the whole country. 26 But Elijah was sent to none of those widows, only to a widow in Zarephath, a town in Sidon. 27 And there were many with skin diseases living in Israel during the time of the prophet Elisha. But none of them were healed, only Naaman, who was from the country of Syria.”
28 When all the people in the synagogue heard these things, they became very angry. 29 They got up, forced Jesus out of town, and took him to the edge of the cliff on which the town was built. They planned to throw him off the edge, 30 but Jesus walked through the crowd and went on his way.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy-
