Sunday June 21, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Nothing bends our knees to ask for God's help more than a health crises or a wayward child-
2-God's goal for us is complete wholeness-
3-Sin and sickness are consequences of the same rebellion and are cured by the same redeemer-
4-In appropriate does, guilt is a blessing. In unmonitored dosages it is an unbearable burden-
5-Love for God and love for sin cannot coexist-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The only time light does what it is supposed to do is in the dark-

I'VE LEARNED-Our sins have far greater implications than we realize-

DID YOU KNOW-A hamlet is a village without a church, and a town is not a city until it has a cathedral-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does any other major religion have anything like grace?
2-Is there such a thing as "human grace"?
3-Is grace strictly a spiritual word?
4-Is grace a noun or a verb?
5-What would a grace filled life look like?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who said "Woe is me, for I am undone!"
Answer    Isaiah     6:5

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Luke 5:12-16
12 When Jesus was in one of the towns, there was a man covered with a skin disease. When he saw Jesus, he bowed before him and begged him, “Lord, you can heal me if you will.”
13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man and said, “I will. Be healed!” Immediately the disease disappeared. 14 Then Jesus said, “Don’t tell anyone about this, but go and show yourself to the priest and offer a gift for your healing, as Moses commanded. This will show the people what I have done.”
15 But the news about Jesus spread even more. Many people came to hear Jesus and to be healed of their sicknesses, 16 but Jesus often slipped away to be alone so he could pray.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying manFather, You are great and greatly to be praised. You are the Builder of everything we see and so much that we’ve not yet laid eyes upon, both on the earth and the heavens above.  We are looking forward to the future city with eternal foundations where You are the architect and builder. Our everlasting home in heaven is not built with human hands, but by Your divine design. Keep us faithful till that glorious promotion day!  In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART.....PEACE IN YOUR SOUL.....AND JOY IN YOUR LIFE.....ALWAYS!!!
