Tuesday June 16, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Belief in the resurrection is not an add on to the Christian faith, it is the Christian faith-
2-Hearing is automatic but listening takes skill-
3-A mother can touch a whole generation just by loving her child well-
4-If you change nothing, nothing will change-
5-You will find that it is necessary to let things go, simply for the reason they are heavy-

STRANGE THOUGHT-In the cookie of life, friends are the chocolate chips-

I'VE LEARNED-Our goals control our actions-

DID YOU KNOW-The meaning of the word "coward" originally was a boy who took care of cows-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is sin ever fun or enjoyable?
2-Is everything that makes you happy always okay to do or have?
3-Is there a difference in "happy" and "blessed"?
4-How can you ever be more than happy?
5-Can a Christian become an extremist or fanatic?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who said "who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go"?
Answer    Pharaoh   Exodus 5:2

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY   Luke 4:40-41
40 When the sun went down, the people brought those who were sick to Jesus. Putting his hands on each sick person, he healed every one of them. 41 Demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God.” But Jesus commanded the demons and would not allow them to speak, because they knew Jesus was the Christ.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Ancient of Days, You have given us Your Holy Word as a spiritually historical foundation to build our lives upon. Through the centuries Your greatness is demonstrated through ordinary people just like us and through Your awesome acts that reveal Your incomparable power and divine attributes. History in the past and history in the making is subordinate to Your sovereign work in the lives of Your people. We choose to remember our leaders, who spoke the Word of God to us and consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith as we lovingly submit ourselves into Your merciful hands. Amen.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING!
