Saturday June 20, 2015 thouyght for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-In an effort to see God as our friend, he has lost his holiness-
2-God has never said "How did that happen?" or "I never saw that coming."
3-Temper tantrums never advance the cause-
4-An unprayed for problem is like an imbedded thorn-
5-"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know to God."

STRANGE THOUGHT-Sometimes burning bridges is a good thing.  It prevents you from going back to places you should never have been to begin with-

I'VE LEARNED-Revenge is an uncontrollable monster.  It can only be halted by forgiveness-

DID YOU KNOW-Naked means "to be unprotected"; nude means "unclothed."

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is it easier to trust the miracle of the resurrection or the miracle of grace?
2-When our prayers are not answered, is God's grace always sufficient?
3-When we forget our vow to God, does he forget us?
4-Does scripture contain any example of a person who was saved, then lost, then saved and then lost again?
5-Does Jesus really pray for us?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who said "O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!"
Answer      David    2 Samuel 19:4

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Luke 5:8-11
When Simon Peter saw what had happened, he bowed down before Jesus and said, “Go away from me, Lord. I am a sinful man!” He and the other fishermen were amazed at the many fish they caught, as were 10 James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid. From now on you will fish for people.” 11 When the men brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed Jesus.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Daily prayer: Father, we give thanks to You that we can walk in victory because of Your Son Jesus Christ.  Once we were held captive by sin and its enslavement, but we have been set free through the redemptive work of Jesus and His glorious resurrection.  Each day brings new challenges, but we overcome them through the blood of the Lamb.  Help us to stand firm in our faith and immovable in Your Truths, as we daily serve You.  We are encouraged to know that nothing we do for You is in vain though we may not see immediate results.  Keep us obedient and trusting. In the name of Jesus we pray.  Amen.

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING. BE A FRIEND. ENCOURAGE SOMEONE. TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND!
