Friday june 29, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Prayer begins with an honest heartfelt "Oh, Daddy!"
2-Jesus invites us to approach God the way a child approaches his/her loving father-
3-We are only, at any point, a prayer away from help-
4-Before you face the world, talk to God the father-
5-God keeps his word, we just need to ask-

STRANGE THOUGHT
In order to move something, you must use a greater force than the object being moved-

I'VE LEARNED
Where God is, hope is-

DID YOU KNOW
The Boeing 737 jet is nicknamed "Fat Albert"-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What did Jesus "empty himself" of?
2-When Jesus was human did he possess all the attributes of God?
3-Is sin first and foremost a defiance of God's laws?
4-Does God have human emotions-laughter, crying, anger, sadness, joy, etc?
5-If God is compassionate, how could he have a plan of pain and suffering for some of those who love him?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What queen wrote to the leaders of Jezreel concerning Naboth?
Answer for today    Jezebel      1 Kings 21:8

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
Ephesians 2:8-9   I mean that you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God. It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Father, thank you for the free gift of salvation.  Thank you for Jesus. Thank you that he died for me and opened the way for me to be in relationship with you. Thank you for walking with me through life and for the promise of eternal life with you-

I PRAY THAT GOD GIVES YOU STRENGTH IN YOUR STRUGGLE, PEACE IN YOUR PAIN, AND VICTORY IN YOUR VALLEY-
