Wednesday June 28, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Christians should always be on the lookout for reasons to be grateful-
2-Look for love today-the intertwined hands of an elderly couple, the joyful face of a boy playing catch with his dad, the enthusiasm of friends meeting at the store, a mother swinging her young daughter, etc-
3-Appreciation becomes gratitude-
4-No mist of discouragement is so thick that the sunlight of appreciation cannot burn it away-
5-Don't be too quick in your assessment of God's gifts to you-
STRANGE THOUGHT
Courtship-a chartered cruise boat for a group of judges-
I'VE LEARNED
Growing requires risk and risk sometimes includes failure. Failure is often an opportunity to learn and grow-
DID YOU KNOW
The condensed water vapor left by jets in the sky is called a contrail-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Should a christian strive to be a "lamb" or "lion"?
2-Which is of greater significance, the fruit or the gifts of the Spirit?
3-Do Christians have all the fruits of the Spirit all of the time?
4-Can we be loving to everyone?
5-Why does the gospel of John refer to Jesus as the "Word"?
SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
John 15:26   I will send you the Helper from the Father; he is the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father. When he comes, he will tell about me,
PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Father, lead me today to a person whose heart in which you are already working-
LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
