HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Foolish hopes lead to foolish behavior-
2-You will be paid back for the deeds you do, whether they be good or
bad-
3-What you send around comes around-
4-Your chickens always come home to roost-
5-When our work loses it's point, our sweat loses it's dignity-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Acupuncture is a jab well done-
I'VE LEARNED-No one else but you is the reason for your happiness-
DID YOU KNOW-The first computer ever made was called ENIAC. A silicone
chip a quarter inch square has the capacity of the original 1949 ENIAC computer,
which occupied a city block-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did the crowd of people who Jesus fed with the loves and fishes have
anything to drink?
2-How did such a large crowd as the 5000 people manage their bodily
functions when they didn't have porta potties?
3-Why didn't Jesus supply water to drink for the hugh crowds, or did
he?
4-When the disciples passed out all the bread and fish, did their
skepticism change to awe in being apart of Jesus miracle?
5-How did the 5 loaves and 2 fish turn into enough food for all the crowd
and then have 12 baskets of leftovers?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What loyal Israelite soldier gave Joshua a positive report
about the land of Canaan?
Yesterday's answer-Potiphar Genesis 39:1
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 6:28-34
28 The people asked Jesus, “What are the things God wants
us to do?”
29 Jesus answered, “The work God wants you to
do is this: Believe the One he sent.”
30 So the people asked, “What miracle will you do? If we
see a miracle, we will believe you. What will you do?31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the desert. This is
written in the Scriptures: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”[a]
32 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, it
was not Moses who gave you bread from heaven; it is my Father who is giving you
the true bread from heaven. 33 God’s bread is the One who comes down from heaven and
gives life to the world.”
34 The people said, “Sir, give us this bread
always.”

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Just
as a loving parent takes the hand of a wobbly child to love, lead, protect, and
steady him so it is with You, Father, who upholds us with Your righteous right
hand. After all, it is Jesus at Your right hand who is always interceding for
us. No tempest storm can overtake You and no earth shattering event perplexes
You. As we walk in Your ways help us to cling tightly to Your loving, protective
hand so that we don’t veer off-course or become faint-hearted. We want to
exchange fear for trust, replace self-reliance with God-reliance and depend upon
Your plan rather than our own. Help us to do so. Amen.
