HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-"He will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor pain"

2-Some people want God to save them but not to change them-

3-Nothing repels non Christians more than gloomy, grumpy Christians-

4-Jesus never said to anyone, "Come to my church" but he said "Come to me"-

5-When God has more of us, we have more of God-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-If you already have something, you don't hope for it-

 

I'VE LEARNED-Be someone who lifts others higher and your life will be rich-

 

DID YOU KNOW-The billionth digit of pi is 9-

1-Are traditions and rituals often substituted for heartfelt worship?

²⁵ Then some of the people who lived in Jerusalem said, “This is the man they are trying to kill. ²⁶ But he is teaching where everyone can see and hear him, and no one is trying to stop him. Maybe the leaders have decided he really is the Christ. ²⁷ But we know where this man is from. Yet when the real Christ comes, no one will know where he comes from.”

 

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, it is because of Your wise and loving character that You teach us about the wiles of our adversary, the devil, and his cunning ways. We are not caught unaware but recognize his strategy as we regularly read Your Word and store it up in our hearts. Your precepts are right and because of that we hate every wrong path. Direct our footsteps according to Your Word so that we stay in pace with You, observing the yellow lights of caution, stopping at the red lights of danger, and staying within the confines of Your guardrails. As we do so we will not allow sin to dominate our lives or lead us astray. We pray for Your guidance in Jesus’ name. Amen.
