HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-We seldom see history in the making and we seldom recognize heroes-
2-Anger has a way of increasing in volume until it is the only sound we
hear-
3-God has never asked us to settle the score or to get even-
4-The past can never change but your response to it can-
5-Judgement is God's job, to assume otherwise is to assume God can't do
it-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Moses broke all of the 10 commandments-
I'VE LEARNED-Love is to see perfection in imperfection itself-
DID YOU KNOW-February 1865 is the only month in recorded history not to
have a full moon-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Scripture says that the Son of Man will send out his angels to weed out
of his kingdom everything and everybody who does evil. How did they get into
his kingdom in the first place?
2-Did Jesus have supernatural strength?
3-Since Jesus had supernatural power, why did he get so tired and
weary?
4-Who was Jesus' crew in the boat "going to the other side"?
5-Why did Jesus ask his disciples to row across Lake Galilee if he knew a
ferocious storm was coming?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who made for Jesus a feast that was attended by many tax
collectors?
Yesterday's answer-Samson's Judges 14:15
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 5:7-13
7 The sick man answered, "Sir, there is no one
to help me get into the pool when the water starts moving. While I am coming to
the water, someone else always gets in before me."
8 Then Jesus said, "Stand up. Pick up your mat
and walk." 9 And immediately the man was well; he picked
up his mat and began to walk.
The
day this happened was a Sabbath day.10 So the Jews said to the man who had been
healed, "Today is the Sabbath. It is against our law for you to carry your mat
on the Sabbath day."
11 But he answered, "The man who made me well
told me, 'Pick up your
mat and walk.' "
12 Then they asked him, "Who is the man who
told you to pick up your mat and walk?"
13 But the man who had been healed did not know
who it was, because there were many people in that place, and Jesus had
left.
