HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-What you get by achieving your goals is not so important as what you
become by achieving them-
2-Learning is not compulsory, but neither is survival-
3-Do what you can with what you have with where you are-
4-The door of wisdom is never shut-
5-Regardless of your lot in life, build something beautiful on it-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Seatbelts are not so confining as a wheelchair-
I'VE LEARNED-Be someone who seeks to understand and you will be wise-
DID YOU KNOW-When CBS broadcast the first television show in color, no one
other than CBS owned a color television set-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Joseph and Mary ever try to convince their other children who Jesus
really was?
2-Jesus said "no one comes to me unless drawn by God the Father who sent
me". So does God draw all people to Jesus?
3-Did Jesus ever explain to anyone his miraculous birth?
4-Why do some people believe in God but not in Jesus as his son?
5-Has anyone who ever lived, except for Jesus, ever seen God the
Father?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who was commander of the rebel army when Absalom rebelled
against David?
Yesterday's answer-Nebuchadnezzar 2 Kings 25:8
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 7:6-9
6 Jesus said to his brothers, “The right time for me has
not yet come, but any time is right for you. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I
tell it the evil things it does. 8 So you go to the feast. I will not go yet[a] to this feast, because the right time for me
has not yet come.”9 After saying this, Jesus stayed in Galilee.

- John 7:8 yet Some Greek copies do not have this word.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
would You help us to be quick to recognize and respond to Your brake promptings.
Often You speak to us through Scripture, daily prayer, and other believers. You
also speak to us through the undesirable consequences that come from our acts of
disobedience. We want to see Your cautions and “stops” as part of Your loving
way of keeping us from danger and redirecting us to that which will be of
blessing in our lives and to those whom we seek to influence.
Amen.
