HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Don't ask God to guide your footsteps if you are not willing to move your
feet-
2-Be careful of what you listen to on a continuing basis-
3-Be careful how you think, your life is shaped by your thoughts-
4-To change your life you must change your thoughts-
5-Behind everything you do is a thought-
STRANGE THOUGHT-After 60, if you don't wake up aching somewhere, you are
probably dead-
I'VE LEARNED-Stop thinking too much for it is okay not to know all the
answers-
DID YOU KNOW-Approximately 98 percent of software in China is
pirated-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-After Jesus calmed the lake storm, healed the demonic man and feed the
5,000, were the disciple now convinced who Jesus was?
2-What was the significant difference in the feeding of the large crowd and
Jesus' previous miracles?
3-Just because Jesus did awesome supernatural miracles, would that have
qualified him to be the coming Messiah?
4-Would the large crowd that was feed still have followed Jesus if he had
done no more miracles?
5-Could Jesus make himself appear and disappear at will?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Which gospel is the only one to mention the Roman soldiers
piercing Jesus' body with a spear?
Yesterday's answer-Uriah 2 Samuel 11:3
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 6:41-45
41 Some people began to complain about Jesus because he
said, “I am the bread
that comes down from heaven.”42 They said, “This is Jesus, the son of Joseph. We know
his father and mother. How can he say, ‘I came down from
heaven’?”
43 But Jesus answered, “Stop complaining to each
other.44 The Father is the One who sent me. No one can come to me
unless the Father draws him to me, and I will raise that person up on the last
day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught
by God.’[a] Everyone who listens to the Father and
learns from him comes to me.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
just as we received Your Son, Christ Jesus as Lord, we continue to live in Him,
rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as we were taught, and
overflowing in thankfulness. May our words, our actions, and our thoughts be
full of praise as we consider all that we have and choose not to dwell on that
which we have not. Above every other blessing is the gift of Your Son, Jesus,
who came into the world to save us from our sins. And the greatest gift yet to
come is the inheritance that awaits Your faithful saints when we cross the
stormy Jordan banks to our eternal dwelling in heaven. Our hearts are satisfied
and filled with thankfulness to You. Amen
