HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-It is never a waste of time to pray--(unless it is for selfish
reasons)-
2-People are often clueless as to their need for God's grace and
forgiveness-
3-Jesus' crucifixion demonstrates his love for all people-
4-Forgiveness gives us an opportunity to begin again-
5-Don't answer questions no one is asking-
STRANGE THOUGHT-When she saw her first strands of gray hair, she thought
she would dye-
I'VE LEARNED-Time heals almost everything, so give time some time-
DID YOU KNOW-You are more likely to lose your hearing than any of the other
senses if you are hit by lightning-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Was Jesus the man ever tempted with an impure thought?
2-How long would it have taken the disciples to pass out bread and fish to
the 5000 people crowd?
3-Were the disciples excited or confused when Jesus told them to pass out
the pieces of bread and fish?
4-Were the disciples bewildered when the bread and fish didn't run out as
they passed it to the crowd?
5-Would the disciples have enlisted lots of other peoples help to pass out
the bread and fish?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What captain of the palace guard did Joseph serve under?
Yesterday's answer-Peter Acts 12:6
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 6:25-27
25 When the people found Jesus on the other side of the
lake, they asked him, “Teacher, when did you come here?”
26 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, you
aren’t looking for me because you saw me do miracles. You are looking for me
because you ate the bread and were satisfied.27 Don’t work for the food that spoils. Work for the food
that stays good always and gives eternal life. The Son of Man will give you this
food, because on him God the Father has put his power.”
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
help us to meditate upon Your promises so that our faith is increased and our
hope is renewed. When obstacles cloud our view that discourage or sway our trust
in You, knowing Your thoroughly tested promises helps us to look beyond the
natural and trust You for the supernatural.
