HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Time flies, it is up to you to be the navigator-
2-If you don't think every day is a good day, just try missing one-
3-It is not where you start, it is where you finish that matters-
4-There are two ways to spread the light, be the candle or the mirror that
reflects it-
5-Until a decision is made, nothing happens-
STRANGE THOUGHT-If you don't have a sense of humor you probably don't have
any sense at all-
I'VE LEARNED-Be someone who comforts and you will be someone who knows
peace-
DID YOU KNOW-A third of ninety five developing countries have a waiting
period of six years or more for a telephone connection, compared with less than
a month in developed countries-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-After seeing Jesus feed the 5,000 who did the people think he was?
2-Why did Jesus call himself "the bread of life"?
3-Do people decide to become followers of Jesus or does God give followers
to him?
4-What does "believing in" require?
5-Did Jesus' mother Mary ever publicly defend Jesus for who he really
was?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What foreign king had Nebuzaradan as commander of his
troops?
Yesterday's answer-Julius Acts 27:1-3
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 7:1-5
After this, Jesus traveled around Galilee. He did not want
to travel in Judea, because some evil people there wanted to kill him. 2 It was time for the Feast of Shelters.3 So Jesus’ brothers said to him, “You should leave here
and go to Judea so your followers there can see the miracles you do. 4 Anyone who wants to be well known does not hide what he
does. If you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.” 5 (Even Jesus’ brothers did not believe in
him.)
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
we who once were outcasts from Your kingdom have entered through the door via
the cross. Though we were unworthy like a beggar in bondage and alone; You made
us worthy and now by Your grace, Your mercy has made us Your own. We will spend
all of eternity thanking and praising You for Your infinite mercy and the
undeserved favor we receive as Your redeemed children. We thank You for Christ
who made it possible and it is in His name that we pray.
Amen.
