Sunday March 28, 2010 thought for the day

FRIENDS
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY-
1-Hope is coming to know who Jesus really is-
2-Faith follows hope-
3-Prayer is more than a one way conversation, it is an intimate relationship-
4-For every evil under the sun there is a remedy or there is none. If there is one, seek till you find it and if there is none never mind it-
5-Happiness comes from happenings, joy comes from within-
STRANGE THOUGHT-A calendar's days are numbered-
I'VE LEARNED-In disagreements, fight fairly, no name calling-
DID YOU KNOW-Isaac Newton was an ordained priest in the Church of England-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did the Roman authorities ever look for Jesus' body?
2-Did any of the Roman authorities ever come to see Jesus after his resurrection?
3-Was anyone there mourning the two thieves being crucified?
4-Does the word Christian need any adjectives?
5-Why did Jesus' family not provide for Jesus's burial?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Whose name meant "God is strong"?
Yesterday's answer-Festus
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 1:9-13
9 At that time Jesus came from the town of Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River.
10 Immediately, as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven open. The Holy Spirit came down on him like a dove,
11 and a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love, and I am very pleased with you."
12 Then the Spirit sent Jesus into the desert.
13 He was in the desert forty days and was tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and the angels came and took care of him.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
