Saturday April 10, 2010 thought for the day

FRIENDS
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY-
1-The easiest way to sleep is to count your blessings instead of your problems-
2-Diplomacy is the art of letting other people have your way-
3-The easiest thing to decide is what you would do if you were in the other person's shoes-
4-Don't find a fault, find a remedy-
5-For every credibility gap, there is a gullibility gap-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Middle age is when you become more interested in how long your car will last than how fast it will go-
I'VE LEARNED-Money can't buy friends, but it will rent some pretty interesting people-
DID YOU KNOW-Henry Ford believed in reincarnation and flatly stated that history is bunk-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is our wealth to be used to buy "things"?
2-To what extent should Christians be concerned with economics?
3-Does it matter to God what home we live in, what car we drive, or what clothes we wear?
4-Should Christians try to spend their income with Christian businesses?
5-Should Christians support businesses if they know the business is not run by Christian principles or they support non Christian activities or programs?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Whose name meant "worshipper of the Lord"?
Yesterday's answer-Malachi
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK3;31-35
31 Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to tell him to come out.
32 Many people were sitting around Jesus, and they said to him, "Your mother and brothers are waiting for you outside.
33 Jesus asked? "Who are my mother and my brothers?"
34 Then he looked at those sitting around him and said, "Here are my mother and my brothers!
35 My true brother and sister and mother are those who do what God wants."
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
