Sunday April 4, 2010 thought for the day

THE LORD IS RISEN!!
THE LORD IS RISEN INDEED!!
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Because life is short, it is wise to make it broad-
2-Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits-
3-Just because you are on a well beaten path is no sign it is the right one-
4-Being in a good frame of mind helps keep one in the picture of health-
5-A true disciple has a servants heart-
STRANGE THOUGHT-If you are a cynic, everyone is corrupt. If you are an idealist, everyone is corrupt except you-
I'VE LEARNED-Don't let a little dispute injure a great relationship-
DID YOU KNOW-When Einstein was inducted as an American, he attended the ceremony without socks-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Jesus have an equal relationship with all his disciples?
2-Why did Jesus have an inner circle of disciples-Peter, James and John?
3-Was Jesus showing favoritism by having a "special" disciple?
4-What held Jesus to the cross?
5-Does no one "fear" God today?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Whose name meant "red earth"?
Yesterday's answer-Lazarus
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 2:18-22
18 Now the followers of John and the Pharisees often gave up eating for a certain time. Some people came to Jesus and said, "Why do John's followers and the followers of the Pharisees often give up eating, but your followers don't?"
19 Jesus answered, "The friends of the bridegroom do not give up eating while the bridegroom is still with them. As long as the bridegroom is with them, they cannot give up eating.
20 But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then they will give up eating.
21 "No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth over a hole in an old coat. Otherwise, the patch will pull away from the old coat. Then the hole will be worse.
22 Also, no one ever pours new wine into old leather bags. Otherwise, the new wine will break the bags, and the wine will be ruined along with the bags. But new wine should be put into new leather bags."
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
