Monday May 3, 2010 thought for the day

FRIENDS
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Everyone needs to know they are loved, especially those closest to us-
2-We have choices in our actions but not in our consequences-
3-There are no birthright Christians-
4-The saint never knows the joy of the Lord in spite of tribulations, but because of it-
5-Face the sunlight and the shadows will fall behind you-
STRANGE THOUGHT-A conclusion is a place where you get tired of thinking-
I'VE LEARNED-Life is like a mirror, we get the best results when we smile at it-
DID YOU KNOW-Charlie Chaplin once won third prize in a Charlie Chaplin look alike contest-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What is the difference in judging and "fruit inspecting"?
2-Are Christians never to judge?
3-Do Christians sin when they are judging?
4-Were all the disciples preachers, teachers, evangelists?
5-Is it necessary to use words to preach the gospel?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Whose bible name meant "who is like the Lord"?
Yesterday's answer-Haggai
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 7:24-30
24 Jesus left that place and went to the area around Tyre. When he went into a house, he did not want anyone to know he was there, but he could not stay hidden.
25 A woman whose daughter had an evil spirit in her heard that he was there. So she quickly came to Jesus and fell at this feet.
26 She was Greek, born in Phoenicia, in Syria. She begged Jesus to force the demon out of her daughter.
27 Jesus told the woman, "It is not right to take the children's bread and give it to the dogs. First let the children eat all they want."
28 But she answered, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table can eat the children's crumbs."
29 Then Jesus said, "Because of your answer, you may go. The demon has left your daughter."
30 The woman went home and found her daughter lying in bed; the demon was gone.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
