Sunday May 16, 2010 thought for the day

FRIEND
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Light a fire in another's heart and your own will be warmed-
2-Love turns service into a sacrament-
3-Love turns drudgery into delight-
4-If stewardship is a problem, it really is a problem of Lordship-
5-Anger is only one letter away from danger-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Man is the only animal that blushes, or needs to-
I'VE LEARNED-If you don't care about a task, it is unlikely you will excel at it-
DID YOU KNOW-The harmonica is the world's most popular instrument-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is scripture to be studied, analyzed, questioned or just accepted?
2-Does the mouth always speak what is in the heart?
3-What are the "careless words" that Jesus said we would have to give an account for?
4-Jesus said that the Son of Man would have to be 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth just like Jonah was in the belly of the hugh fish. Was he?
5-When Jesus blessed the loaves and fishes to feed the multitudes when did they multiply, when they were blessed or when they were passed out?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What Bible name meant "supplanter"?
Yesterday's answer-Mark
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 8:22-26
22 Jesus and his followers came to Bethsaida. There some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged him to touch the man.
23 So Jesus took the blind man's hand and led him out of the village. Then he spit on the man's eye and put his hands on the man and asked, "Can you see now?"
24 The man looked up and said, "Yes, I see people, but they look like trees walking around.
25 Again Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then the man opened his eyes wide and they were healed, and he was able to see everything clearly.
26 Jesus told him to go home, saying, "Don't go into the town."
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
