Friday January 7, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-From mourning to morning, the difference is us-
2-Faith is trusting God when you don't have an answer-
3-The question "Why?" will hold you captive-
4-It is easy to get weary in well doing-
5-If you focus on what you don't have, you will lose what you do have-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Words are like eyeglasses, they blur everything they do not make clear-
I'VE LEARNED-Jealousy is all the fun you think they had-
DID YOU KNOW-The name for fungal remains found in coal is sclerotinite-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW-
1-Why did The High Priest Caiaphas want Jesus crucified?
2-Did Rome want Jesus dead?
3-Why didn't the Jewish people come out in opposition to Jesus' crucifixion?
4-Was the living Jesus a threat to anyone?
5-Did most of the Jewish people care whether Jesus lived or died?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What Persian king was embarrassed by his disobedient wife?
Yesterday's answer-John
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY 1 PETER 1:1-2
Encouragement for Suffering Christians
1 From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ.

To God's chosen people who are away from their homes and are scattered all around Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia. 2 God the Father planned long ago to choose you by making you his holy people, which is the Spirit's work. God wanted you to obey him and to be made clean by the blood of the death of Jesus Christ.

Grace and peace be yours more and more.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
