Monday January 31, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Tithing is telling God you trust him for all your needs-
2-Being a Christian and not going to church is like being married and not going home-
3-Immediate gratification is a stronger pull than potential rewards-
4-It is not what we eat but what is eating us-
5-You are what you think, so think what you want to be-
STRANGE THOUGHT-A fool has the ability to see the faults of others and to forget their own-
I'VE LEARNED-Cleverness is not wisdom-
DID YOU KNOW-The oldest word in the English language is town-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is Jesus the only "person" of the trinity?
2-Does the Word of God take root in those whom God has predestined to be his children?
3-Why is God described in masculine terms?
4-If all people are made in the image of God, why don't all people respond to the Holy Spirit working in their life?
5-Have all people of all time been prompted by the Holy Spirit towards Jesus as their savior?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What Hebrew was given the daughter of the pharaoh as a wife?
Yesterday's answer-Saul
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY 1 JOHN 1:1-4
Love One Another
1 We write you now about what has always existed, which we have heard, we have seen with our own eyes, we have looked at, and we have touched with our hands. We write to you about the Word that gives life. 2 He who gives life was shown to us. We saw him and can give proof about it. And now we announce to you that he has life that continues forever. He was with God the Father and was shown to us.3 We announce to you what we have seen and heard, because we want you also to have fellowship with us. Our fellowship is with God the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to you so you may be full of joy with us.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
