Friday March 25, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-You can conquer your past by focusing on your future-
2-Sometimes you must be willing to experience a season of pain to receive a season of gain-
3-Sometimes you have to do something you don't like to create something you love-
4-The more you succeed the more people will demand of you-
5-Faith often leaves when fatigue enters-
STRANGE THOUGHT-I've bought some powered water but now I don't know what to add-
I'VE LEARNED-If it weren't for electricity, we'd all be watching TV by candlelight-
DID YOU KNOW-Seven percent of Americans eat at McDonald's every day-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Are Christians to be sacrificial givers?
2-Is tithing sacrificial giving?
3-Tithing was required in the Law of Moses, which is no longer in effect, so is tithing required of Christians today?
4-If parts of the Law of Moses are still in effect, why aren't they all in effect?
5-What happened to the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve were expelled?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What apostle of Jesus recorded his vision of the world's end times?
Yesterday's answer-Deborah
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY HEBREWS 11:24-31

24 It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of the king of Egypt's daughter.25 He chose to suffer with God's people instead of enjoying sin for a short time.26 He thought it was better to suffer for the Christ than to have all the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking for God's reward.27 It was by faith that Moses left Egypt and was not afraid of the king's anger. Moses continued strong as if he could see the God that no one can see.28 It was by faith that Moses prepared the Passover and spread the blood on the doors so the one who brings death would not kill the firstborn sons of Israel.

29 It was by faith that the people crossed the Red Sea as if it were dry land. But when the Egyptians tried it, they were drowned.

30 It was by faith that the walls of Jericho fell after the people had marched around them for seven days.

31 It was by faith that Rahab, the prostitute, welcomed the spies and was not killed with those who refused to obey God.

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!!!
