Wednesday March 16, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Light shines the brightest in the darkness-
2-Sanctification does not mean perfect performance or sinless perfection-
3-Holiness is what we experience as we abide in God and He in us-
4-When the black curtain of death comes down on the stage of life behind you, nothing matters except your relationship with God and your family-
5-It is light that makes a difference in the darkness-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Why does a psychic need a telephone directory?
I'VE LEARNED-When the days ends, your mind can rest-
DID YOU KNOW-The most common Russian name is Ivanov-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is mercy just a Christian trait?
2-What circumstances dictate showing mercy?
3-Is mercy a part of forgiveness?
4-Is mercy an action or a reaction?
5-Is mercy meeting a need that you can help meet?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What prophet predicted that Jeroboam would be king over ten tribes of Israel?-
Yesterday's answer-Gad
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY HEBREWS 9:11-15
The New Agreement
11 But when Christ came as the high priest of the good things we now have, he entered the greater and more perfect tent. It is not made by humans and does not belong to this world. 12 Christ entered the Most Holy Place only once—and for all time. He did not take with him the blood of goats and calves. His sacrifice was his own blood, and by it he set us free from sin forever.13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a cow are sprinkled on the people who are unclean, and this makes their bodies clean again.14 How much more is done by the blood of Christ. He offered himself through the eternal Spirit as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will make our consciences pure from useless acts so we may serve the living God.

15 For this reason Christ brings a new agreement from God to his people. Those who are called by God can now receive the blessings he has promised, blessings that will last forever. They can have those things because Christ died so that the people who lived under the first agreement could be set free from sin.

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!!!
