Tuesday March 15, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-If we see God as great, our praise will be great-
2-True vision has nothing to do with how well you see-
3-Jesus never begged anyone to believe in him-
4-Discipline is following a code of behavior you have chosen-
5-Knowledge converts to wisdom with repeated application-
STRANGE THOUGHT-I was reading a book called "The history of glue" and I couldn't put it down-
I'VE LEARNED-The harder you work, the more luck you seem to have-
DID YOU KNOW-Less than 2% of the water on earth is fresh water-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why was Saul chosen to be the first king of Israel?
2-Did the Israelites want Saul to be their king?
3-Did David want to be king over Israel?
4-Why did Bathsheba willingly come and submit to king David? Was it a common practice?
5-What do you have to do to be faithful?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What man wrote a brief book against Edom?
Yesterday's answer-Joel
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY HEBREWS 11:1-6
What Is Faith?
1 Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it. 2 Faith is the reason we remember great people who lived in the past.

3 It is by faith we understand that the whole world was made by God's command so what we see was made by something that cannot be seen.

4 It was by faith that Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. God said he was pleased with the gifts Abel offered and called Abel a good man because of his faith. Abel died, but through his faith he is still speaking.

5 It was by faith that Enoch was taken to heaven so he would not die. He could not be found, because God had taken him away. Before he was taken, the Scripture says that he was a man who truly pleased God. 6 Without faith no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him.

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!!!
