Thursday March 24, 2011 thought for the day-from jasper

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY-
1-Don't waste your time with critics but keep focused on your goal-
2-People always fight what they don't understand-
3-It is not important what others say about you, what really matters is what you believe about yourself-
4-You cannot influence everyone but you can influence someone-
5-Money is not what satisfies-
STRANGE THOUGHT-I've never been lost but have been confused for several weeks-
I'VE LEARNED-Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity-
DID YOU KNOW-Ray Kroc bought McDonalds for $2.7 million in 1961 from the McDonald brothers-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Should all Christians have the gift of generosity?
2-How much responsibility should Christians have for meeting the needs of fellow believers?
3-Are Christians who do not tithe greedy?
4-Is the "tithe" supposed to go to the local place of worship or other ministries as well?
5-Does the law of sowing and reaping apply to the area of financial giving also?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who was the only female judge of Israel and was considered a prophetess?
Yesterday's answer-Miriam
SCRIPURE FOR TODAY HEBREWS 11:17-23

17 It was by faith that Abraham, when God tested him, offered his son Isaac as a sacrifice. God made the promises to Abraham, but Abraham was ready to offer his own son as a sacrifice.18 God had said, "The descendants I promised you will be from Isaac."19 Abraham believed that God could raise the dead, and really, it was as if Abraham got Isaac back from death.

20 It was by faith that Isaac blessed the future of Jacob and Esau.21 It was by faith that Jacob, as he was dying, blessed each one of Joseph's sons. Then he worshiped as he leaned on the top of his walking stick.

22 It was by faith that Joseph, while he was dying, spoke about the Israelites leaving Egypt and gave instructions about what to do with his body.

23 It was by faith that Moses' parents hid him for three months after he was born. They saw that Moses was a beautiful baby, and they were not afraid to disobey the king's order.

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!!!
