Sunday Novembber 6, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-We cannot live our Christian life on only our favorite scripture verse-
2-If you genuinely asked Jesus into your heart and life he did!-
3-Christians always have peace we just don't exercise it-
4-Worry is when the problems of life become bigger than Jesus-
5-We have the freedom to make choices but don't have the freedom to choose the consequences-
STRANGE THOUGHT-You will not be happy when you get what you think you want if you can't be happy with what
you have and who you are now-
I'VE LEARNED-Those who give up will never know what the outcome could have been-
DID YOU KNOW-It takes an average of 48-100 tries to solve a Rubik's Cube puzzle. If done perfectly, any Rubik's Cube
Combination can be solved in 17 tries-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What was the purpose of Jesus' baptism?
2-Why didn't Jesus baptize John the Baptist?
3-What is the purpose of Christian baptism?
4-Did Jesus need to be baptized?
5-How many people did Jesus ever baptize?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who slept in the bottom of a ship as it rolled in a storm?
Yesterday's answer Sisera Judges 4:21
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY 1 Corinthians 10:23-26
23 "We are allowed to do all things," but not all things are good for us to do. "We are allowed to do all things," but not all things help others grow stronger. 24 Do not look out only for yourselves. Look out for the good of others also.

25 Eat any meat that is sold in the meat market. Do not ask questions about it. 26 You may eat it, "because the earth belongs to the Lord, and everything in it.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Praying manFather, we are abundantly blessed with foods of all kinds, both vegetable and fruit, meat and bread. Thank you for those who diligently work the land and reap the harvest that we might place food on our tables and be nurtured physically. You make the grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate— bringing forth food from the earth. All we have needed Your hand hath provided. Great is Your faithfulness, Lord, unto me. Amen.

I WISH YOU ENOUGH---
