HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-Fear is a perceived loss of control-

2-The more insecure we feel, the meaner we become-

3-Fear creates spiritual amnesia and make us forget how good God is-

4-When fear shapes our lives, safety becomes our god-

5-When you are filled with fear, you cannot love deeply-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-How do you decide where the boundary lines are between oceans?

 

I'VE LEARNED-There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe what is true-

 

DID YOU KNOW-The ostrich has only two toes, unlike most birds which have three or four-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Why is there no Bible story of Joseph and Mary's marriage?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    Acts  16:119-24

¹⁹ When the owners of the servant girl saw this, they knew that now they could not use her to make money. So they grabbed Paul and Silas and dragged them before the city rulers in the marketplace. ²⁰ They brought Paul and Silas to the Roman rulers and said, “These men are Jews and are making trouble in our city. ²¹ They are teaching things that are not right for us as Romans to do.”

²² The crowd joined the attack against them. The Roman officers tore the clothes of Paul and Silas and had them beaten with rods. ²³ Then Paul and Silas were thrown into jail, and the jailer was ordered to guard them carefully. ²⁴ When he heard this order, he put them far inside the jail and pinned their feet down between large blocks of wood.

PRAYER FOR TODAY 

Father, You grant us access to Your presence through Your Son, Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. As we come into personal relationship with Him we begin to know the Truth that sets us free from the deceit and lies of Satan. Help us to faithfully engraft Your Word into our hearts so that we will filter all that we see, hear and read to find what You, the Source and very Essence of truth have to say to our hearts. Help us to conform to Your will in all matters.  Amen.
