THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-When you flee temptation don't leave a forwarding address-

2-Well done is better than well said-

3-An expert is one who will know tomorrow why the things he predicted yesterday didn't happen today-

4-A friend is one who asks how you are and then waits to hear your answer-

5-Experience is the hardest kind of teacher.  It gives the test first and the lesson afterwards-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Those who get too big for their pants will be exposed in the end

 

I'VE LEARNED-It is your road and yours alone.  Others may walk it with you but no one can walk it for you-

 

DID YOU KNOW-According to the United States Refuse Act of 1899, every industrial discharge into bodies of waters since 1899 has been a crime-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Are the 12 gates of heaven ever closed?

2-In the New Heaven, will the inhabitants have minds and bodies equal to the tasks to which they are assigned?

3-What does the Bible mean saying "we shall serve our king ruling and reigning with him forever and ever"?

4-Will there be tears of joy in the new heaven, just as there is now here?

5-Will there be tears in heaven over the sins and failures of our earthly lives?

 

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY     Psalm 33:20-22

²⁰ So our hope is in the Lord.  He is our help, our shield to protect us.
²¹  We rejoice in him, because we trust his holy name.
²² Lord, show your love to us, as we put our hope in you.

 

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

 

Father, today I want to retreat to a quiet place of worship so you can do a fresh work in my heart and soul-

 

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
