THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Love is the life of the heart-

2-Motives are the real reason we do any of the things we do-

3-The problem with the Pharisees was that their actions looked good but their motives were not-

4-A person's character is determined by their motives-

5-God judges us by our hearts, nothing else-

There are no new sins, the old ones just get more publicity-

Ephesians 1:13-14      So it is with you. When you heard the true teaching—the Good News about your salvation—you believed in Christ. And in Christ, God put his special mark of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit that he had promised. ¹⁴ That Holy Spirit is the guarantee that we will receive what God promised for his people until God gives full freedom to those who are his—to bring praise to God’s glory.

 

PRAYER FOR TODAY

 

Father, thank you for sending your son, Jesus, to be the redemption price for my sins, for sealing me with your Holy Spirit, and for guaranteeing my inheritance-
