THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-The book of Revelation has a two fold purpose.  One is to inform of Jesus return and two is to inform of his ultimate reign on the earth-

2-The history of Christianity has been written in the blood of martyrs-

3-satan is the old testament name of the evil being of hell, and the devil is the new testament name-

4-The name devil means slanderer-"accuser of the brethren"-

5-The name satan means adversary.  He is the adversary of God and every one of Gods children-

1-When Judas threw the 30 coins back at the high priest why did they use it to buy a field from the potter?

Hebrews 5:1-6     Every high priest selected to represent men and women before God and offer sacrifices for their sins should be able to deal gently with their failings, since he knows what it’s like from his own experience. But that also means that he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as the peoples’. No one elects himself to this honored position. He’s called to it by God, as Aaron was. Neither did Christ presume to set himself up as high priest, but was set apart by the One who said to him, “You’re my Son; today I celebrate you!” In another place God declares, “You’re a priest forever in the royal order of Melchizedek.”         Message

Father, I am humbled to be reconciled to you through Jesus.  Enable me more and more each day to live for you alone-

 

 MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
