Friday February 8, 2008 thought for the day

ANOTHER PRETTY WINTER PICTURE
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Great opportunities may come once in a lifetime but small opportunities we have every day-
2-Our acts of obedience are more important to God than our praise, prayers or worship-
3-Do the right things out of love not duty-
4-Intimate friendship with God is a choice not an accident-
5-It is not how hard you fall but how soft you land-

Strange thought-ideas won't work unless "I" do-

I've learned-you can't expect your children to listen to your advice and ignore your example-

5 things I want to know
1-Can sin be defined away from the bible?
2-Can we spiritualize all of our problems?
3-Is the church more concerned with preserving the faith than saving the lost?
4-How can we criticize someone when we have not walked in their shoes?
5-Is it true that the more we give ourselves to God the more we have to give to others?

Today's Scripture
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come” (II Corinthians 5:17).

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
