Sunday February 27, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-I'd rather be a fool on fire than an intellect on ice-
2-A yoke is always attached to a burden-
3-Forgetting is not deleting memories-
4-Even your mistakes can become miracles in God's hands-
5-Much of what we learn about God we learn through adversity-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Don't fur line the pig pen-
I'VE LEARNED-You never outgrow the problem of temptations-
DID YOU KNOW-More than 26 dialects of Quichua are spoken in Ecuador-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How did the flesh eating animals survive on the ark?
2-How was all the animal waste removed from the ark?
3-What did Noah and family eat while on the ark?
4-Why do Christians often not live peacefully with other Christians?
5-Is showing peace an action or a reaction?
BIBLE TRIVIA-This prophet who was placed in a hole in the ground for being too outspoken, was often called the "weeping prophet"-
Yesterday's answer-Daniel
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY HEBREWS 2:14-18
14 Since these children are people with physical bodies, Jesus himself became like them. He did this so that, by dying, he could destroy the one who has the power of death—the devil—15 and free those who were like slaves all their lives because of their fear of death.16 Clearly, it is not angels that Jesus helps, but the people who are from Abraham. 17 For this reason Jesus had to be made like his brothers and sisters in every way so he could be their merciful and faithful high priest in service to God. Then Jesus could die in their place to take away their sins. 18 And now he can help those who are tempted, because he himself suffered and was tempted.
GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!!!
