Wednesday February 23, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-What is in you affects your outward behavior-
2-Yesterday's ceiling should be today's floor-
3-Your comfort zone becomes your limitations-
4-Sometimes we have to be brought out in order to be brought in-
5-You can't walk on water if you won't get out of your boat-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Why should I learn algebra. I have no intention of ever going there?
I'VE LEARNED-Three things in life that are truly constant-1 Father, 2 Son and 3 Holy Spirit-
DID YOU KNOW-the word buffet is actually a French word for "get it yourself-
5 THING I WANT TO KNOW
1-How did Jesus affect those who saw him after his resurrection?
2-When Jesus appeared after his resurrection, what did that mean? Was it a physical thing or a mystical thing?
3-When Jesus ascended into heaven, was it in a human body? If so when did he lose it?
4-Will the dead bodies of Christians go to heaven or just appear there?
5-Was Jesus' body a "glorified body" and what would that mean?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What king sent his son to David with expensive presents that David decided to use in worship?
Yesterday's answer-Rehoboam
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY HEBREWS 1:1-6
God Spoke Through His Son
1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets many times and in many different ways.2 But now in these last days God has spoken to us through his Son. God has chosen his Son to own all things, and through him he made the world.3 The Son reflects the glory of God and shows exactly what God is like. He holds everything together with his powerful word. When the Son made people clean from their sins, he sat down at the right side of God, the Great One in heaven.4 The Son became much greater than the angels, and God gave him a name that is much greater than theirs.

5 This is because God never said to any of the angels,
"You are my Son.
Today I have become your Father." — Psalm 2:7
Nor did God say of any angel,
"I will be his Father,
And he will be my Son." — 2 Samuel 7:14
6 And when God brings his firstborn Son into the world, he says,
"Let all God's angels worship him." — Psalm 97:7

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!!!
