Monday December 7, 2009 thought for the day

A PRETTY WINTER SCENE

Here are my thoughts for today
1-May the Lord bless you with rainbows-
2-Death is not a period, it is a comma-
3-When you come to the place I am all you have, you'll find I'm all you need!-Jesus-
4-There is no greater sorrow than to recall a time of happiness while in misery-
5-There is no repentance in the grave-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Birthdays are good for you for the more you have the longer you live-

I'VE LEARNED-Believe the best is yet to come-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How did Jesus support himself and his disciples during his ministry?
2-Would Jesus ever have hurt or injured his body during his lifetime by accident or neglect?
3-Did Jesus know his ministry would start at his meeting with John the Baptist?
4-Did Jesus receive his family's blessing to start his earthly ministry?
5-Nicodemus was a member of the Sanhedrin and Jesus was tried before the Sanhedrin, so did Nicodemus participate in Jesus' trial?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who was the first metal craftsman?
Yesterday's answer-God (Genesis 2:8)

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 107:1-9
1 Thank the Lord because he is good. His love continues forever.
2 That is what those whom the Lord has saved should say. He has saved them from the enemy
3 and has gathered them from other lands, from east and west, north and south.
4 Some people had wandered in the desert lands. They found no city in which to live.
5 They were hungry and thirsty, and they were discouraged.
6 In their misery they cried out to the Lord, and he saved them from their troubles.
7 He led them on a straight road to a city where they could live.
8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his love and for the miracles he does for people.
9 He satisfies the thirsty and fills up the hungry.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
