Thursday December 17, 2009 thought for the day

LET JESUS IN YOUR CHRISTMAS

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-There is nothing worth living for that is not worth dying for-
2-Our outlook on life is not determined by circumstances but by focus-
3-I hold my possessions loosely because it hurts when God pry's my fingers open and takes them from me-
4-Proper planning prevents poor performance-
5-Ask God to bless your work, don't ask him to do it-

STRANGE THOUGHT-A manure spreader is the only machine that John Deere would not stand behind-

I've learned-Having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Were there any requests for physical healing made to Jesus that he didn't do?
2-In Jesus 3 years of ministry, did he walk everywhere or would he have ridden an animal?
3-What kind of food did Jesus eat and what did he drink?
4-Was Jesus a vegetarian or did he also eat meat?
5-Would Jesus have been overwhelmed with sick people wanting healing?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Saul was the first king of Israel. Who was the second? (Hint, it wasn't David)
Yesterday's answer-Jared (Genesis 5:20)

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 109:11-15
11 Let the people to whom he owes money take everything he owns, and let strangers steal every thing he has worked for.
12 Let no one show him love or have mercy on his orphaned children.
13 Let all his descendants die and be forgotten by those who live after him.
14 Lord, remember how wicked his ancestors were, and don't let the sins of his mother be wiped out.
15 Lord, always remember their sins. Then make people forget about them completely.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
