Friday September 3, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-The problem with a living sacrifice is that it wants to crawl off the altar-
2-You don't grow in grace accidently-
3-A price is to be paid for whatever you want-
4-A brave person is not one without fear-
5-Man's extremities are God's opportunities-
STRANGE THOUGHT-After all is said and done, the wife said it and the husband did it-
I'VE LEARNED-Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option-
DID YOU KNOW-Nyctohylophobia is the fear of dark wooded areas, or forests at night-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Cain know that he could kill his brother before he did it?
2-In the Old Testament an illegitimate child could not enter into the congregation of the Lord up to their 10th generation. Why was an innocent child treated so badly?
3-Can the Holy Spirit dwell in a person when self will is in charge of his life?
4-How do believers become yoked together with unbelievers?
5-Are all people being drawn to God by the Holy Spirit?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What was the name of Sarah's Egyptian maid?
Yesterday's answer-Hadassah
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 7:28-35

28 I tell you, John is greater than any other person ever born, but even the least important person in the kingdom of God is greater than John."

29 (When the people, including the tax collectors, heard this, they all agreed that God's teaching was good, because they had been baptized by John.

30 But the Pharisees and experts on the law refused to accept God's plan for themselves; they did not let John baptize them.)

31 Then Jesus said, "What shall I say about the people of this time? What are they like?

32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace, calling to one another and saying,
'We played music for you, but you did not dance;
We sang a sad song, but you did not cry.'
33 John the Baptist came and did not eat bread or drink wine, and you say, 'He has a demon in him.'

34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look at him! He eats too much and drinks too much wine, and he is a friend of tax collectors and sinners!'

35 But wisdom is proved to be right by what it does."

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
